Terence Archibald

Terence Archibald spent a good deal of his life as a ranger in some of the pristine wilderness areas of South Africa, Botswana and Namibia.

He considers this field experience invaluable in providing ideas for his paintings. “The painting of wildlife requires the disciplined use of talent, time and patience together with detailed and intimate knowledge of the subject matter being depicted”.

He is passionate about his work, finding it pure joy to be in his studio, doing what he loves most. This is certainly portrayed in the attention to detail seen in his finished work.

Terence is a versatile artist who works in a variety of mediums with a preference for acrylic. His paintings are held in private and corporate collections around the world.
